So we put help on your wrist, beautifully, and a circle of people behind it. Our team has deployed tracking and safety systems in 30+ schools in the United States.

What happens when I press the jewellery?

It signals your phone over Bluetooth Low Energy, which triggers the SaferSide app. Depending on the press, you get a fake call, your live location is shared, or an SOS push notification goes to your Safe Circle.

Do the people I add need the app?

Yes. They receive alerts and follow your location in the SaferSide app. If they do not have it yet, they get a link to download it and join your circle.

Does it call the police or emergency services?

No. SaferSide alerts the people you choose and shares your location with them. It does not contact or replace emergency services. In an emergency, call 112.

Does it need charging?

No. It runs on a replaceable coin cell that lasts about 18 months, and one is included.

Is it water-resistant?

It is splash-proof, so everyday splashes and rain are fine.

Does my phone need to be nearby?

Yes. The jewellery connects to your phone over Bluetooth Low Energy, so keep your phone with you as you normally would.
